Pearl Comms is on the hunt for its latest gem.

We’re looking for a new account executive to join our growing agency. We specialise in corporate comms so if you’re a talented writer with an eye for the media and current affairs, we want to hear from you.

JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be the expert on all things media and will be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and new opportunities for our clients. You will play a crucial role at Pearl Comms and will be responsible for supporting and implementing strategic communication campaigns that enhance the reputation and visibility of our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client service – Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as on of their primary points of contact. Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to develop targeted PR strategies.
  • Media engagement – Proactively pitch stories and news angles to journalists, editors, and influencers. Cultivate media relationships to secure media coverage in relevant outlets.
  • Copywriting – The ability to write across all manner of outlets, including the media. Content such as press releases, articles, and social media posts will be required. Ensure that all content aligns with client messaging and branding guidelines.
  • Campaign management – Support your managers and wider team across multiple PR campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Monitor campaign performance and conduct post-campaign analysis.
  • Reporting – Provide regular reports to clients on campaign performance, media coverage, and PR outcomes. Use data and analytics to inform decision making.

Experience / nice to haves:

  • Public Relations: 1 year (preferred)
  • Copywriting: 1 year (preferred)
