Nick is a true Pearl Comms OG and has been a founding member since the start.
Adaptable, creative and results-driven, Nick delivers creative communications campaigns and strategies which go above and beyond, every time.
With over nine years in the game, Nick is never one to shy away from getting involved. From getting to the bottom of a client’s purpose, understanding what makes them tick, he always makes sure that our PR connects businesses with the audiences that matter most.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
With 12 years of marketing experience under her belt in sectors ranging from construction to franchising to education, Gemma is a dynamic account director who loves nothing better than streamlining processes for her clients. She has a keen eye for branding and budget management, and thrives when planning campaigns down to the letter, and if there is an event to organise, all the better!
Having worked with both B2B and B2C, in-house and agency side, Gemma is Pearl Comms’ secret weapon, bringing creative and practical solutions to all of her clients.
ANT BISSEKER
STRATEGY DIRECTOR
Ant is the true definition of a people person, with over 25 years business experience across multiple sectors.
He’s happiest when he’s discussing new business opportunities, client growth plans or running discovery sessions. Ant’s experience ranges across media, tourism, destination marketing, the arts, manufacturing, and leading and growing marketing agencies.
Specialisms: commercial partnerships, board level engagement, senior relationship management.
CHRISTINE SMART
SENIOR CONSULTANT
An experienced communications consultant, Christine guides clients through campaigns, which are designed to strengthen and differentiate their brand in their chosen markets.
A skilled crisis communications consultant and media trainer, she is used to advising senior stakeholders and is known for her tenacity and powers of persuasion.
Christine’s ability to scout out a media opportunity and craft technical copy, even on the most complex of topics, helps Pearl Comms’ clients to entrust her with getting results that shine.
GEORGIE CLARK
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Georgie is an experienced Account Director, with tonnes of B2B PR experience under her belt in sectors such as fintech, AI and cleantech.
After achieving a degree from the University of Birmingham and Master’s in Journalism from Bournemouth University she channelled her love of storytelling into a career in PR, jumping straight into agency life after university. Georgie is a media whizz, and thrives on building strong relationships with journalists, clients and her team. This passion has given her the opportunity to travel across the world to Germany and America, becoming an extension of her client’s PR teams to co-ordinate events, live announcements, and broadcast opportunities.
Outside of work, Georgie is a self-confessed TV addict – from thrillers to reality shows, she has the best recommendations! She is also a true foodie, and loves discovering new dishes in restaurants around Birmingham.

Our very own dancing queen, Emma’s experience in the industry has seen her achieve top-quality media exposure at a trade, regional, and national level.
Bringing her own creativity to corporate comms, expect to find style and flair in all her work, straight from the dancefloor and into your campaign.
Alongside her comms career, Emma teaches dance at a range of levels – who’s hoping that she can teach us a thing or two?
MEGHAN BLASZCZYZYN
DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER
Following the completion of her BA in media production, Meg went on to achieve a Masters degree in PR, so you can be sure you’re dealing with a ‘master’ of the industry.
The communications and organisational skills she’s developed over the years have helped Meg to create her own music event empire, which promotes young talent across the Midlands region. Her passion is helping other people to shine, both in the music world and in business.
BECKY SHUCK
CONTENT MANAGER
Becky is a multi-disciplined content manager, with a host of experience under her belt. Becky has spent years developing her skillset, from running a marketing department, which included a website launch and an e-commerce function, to her most recent role in digital marketing. Now returning to her PR roots, Becky is making a splash by building strong client relationships and using her experience to craft content that delivers incredible results.
Her creativity and love of writing was cemented whilst studying English Literature at the University of Worcester, where she also studied creative writing for the duration of her course. Her love of poetry and short stories is matched by her strategic business acumen: when she’s not shaping client content, Becky runs her own successful cosmetics business. Outside of work, she devotes her time to her beloved rescue dogs, is a fierce advocate for pet adoption and helps others to train their own rescues.
CHARLOTTE MANSER
COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT
Charlotte has a passion for writing and creativity flows through her veins, making her the perfect person to add that ‘je ne sais quoi’ to your blog, press release or article. After completing her degree in Journalism and Media and Culture at the University of Worcester, Charlotte knew that PR would be the perfect fit and joined the team at Pearl to continue her love for writing.
With experience from her family business in the painting and decorating industry, Charlotte is passionate about creating award-winning comms for clients in the property and construction sector. Not only is she a talented writer, but Charlotte also has a keen eye for design and enjoys working with clients on creative projects – the more chance to think outside the box the better!
As an experienced mixologist, you can expect all of Charlotte’s writing to have notes of freshness with undertones of creativity, pairing extremely well with a side of excellent results. When she’s not writing, she loves to spend time with her cat, Katsu, and enjoys art.
ANITA GILL
JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Anita is a PR and digital marketing powerhouse with a passion for the written word. Achieving a first from Aston University in Politics and International Relations (BSc) and gaining workplace experience in her role at the Women in Business society, Anita further honed her skills across a placement year at L’Oréal in London, working with top brands including Urban Decay, YSL Beauty and Mugler.
Anita’s keen interest in world politics and international news quickly led her to a career in PR, which combines her love of writing and digital marketing with building strong media relations that shape the news agenda when it comes to business. In her free time, she is an avid reader, a budding chef and seasoned traveller, with Japan locked firmly in her sights as her next destination.
HARRIET RAYBOULD
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
A former Pearl Academy alum and intern, Harriet has joined Pearl as an Account Executive, ready to get involved and make an impact. She’s eager to embrace social opportunities to build strong client relationships and deliver attention-worthy content.
Having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA Joint Honours degree in History and American Studies, Harriet has a passion for international politics and understanding discourse in the news which provides the insight needed to craft informed PR campaigns.
Outside of work, she is a talented pianist and loves listening to music – Olivia Dean is her current favourite!
TOM HOLGATE
SEO SPECIALIST
An expert in digital marketing and SEO, Tom has an eye for analytics and thrives on using data to transform marketing activities and improve website performance.
Tom graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Marketing Management and has since worked with a number of technical B2B clients, such as Thunes, Brown & Brown, Rheem, Barker Associates, and Gillette Arabia. His years of experience enable him to create detailed SEO and digital strategies that deliver fantastic results.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys cooking. He is a classically trained chef and has previously worked in prestigious kitchens – he’s now an expert in cooking up winning SEO strategies for our clients.
